Facebook is updating its annual fact-finding forum on Wednesday, with discussions and actions, and anyone can tune in.

Facebook Connect (formerly known as Oculus Connect) will feature 35 speakers over 15 seasons that will showcase the work of the Facebook Reality Center, which is the new AR / VR team renamed.

How to watch Facebook Connect event online

You can watch Facebook Connect on the Facebook Reality Lab page via Facebook Live starting at 10 am PT on Wednesday, September 16. You can also pay for the event via Oculus Venues if you have an Oculus VR headset and want experience more.

What is Facebook Connect?

The event will discuss all topics when it comes to the AR / VR industry, including VR history, synesthesia in VR, designing live media experiences for social VR, diversity and access to VR development, and more. Facebook can also make new announcements by launching its VR, such as the Oculus Quest 2 rumor.

Facebook said the event is for anyone interested in AR / VR, or developers and technology designers looking to learn more.

Who is speaking at the Facebook Connect event?

Speakers include John Carmack, CTO of Oculus VR; Dante Buckley, Founder and Director at Internet Communication; Alton Glass, Director at GRX Immersive Centers; Testuya Mizuguchi, Founder and CEO at Enhancement; Hessvacio Hassan, Founder and Developer Manager at Made at Brooklyn Games; Facebook designers and developers, and more.

It will also be a post-party performance by actor Jaden Smith.
